We specialize in residential masonry restoration, including chimney rebuilds, parging, porch and concrete repairs, flagstone installation, and custom stone and brickwork. With a reputation for quality craftsmanship and dependable service, we are seeking a skilled and motivated mason to join our expanding team.

Position Overview

We are hiring a (full-time or part time if preferred)Masonry Restoration specialist. to assist with a wide range of residential projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Most work takes place on residential job sites, with new projects almost daily throughout the KW and Guelph area.

Key Responsibilities

Perform chimney rebuilds, tuckpointing, and general masonry restoration Set up and safely operate scaffold systems Complete foundation parging and repairs Lay brick, natural stone, and precast units for repairs and small custom projects Install flagstone, pavers, and perform concrete skim coats on porches and steps Mix mortar and concrete to required specifications Organize tools, materials, and maintain a clean job site Follow project instructions with attention to quality, safety, and detail
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on masonry experience preferred Valid G-class driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to read and follow basic construction plans or job instructions Experience with scaffold systems and working at height Familiarity with mortar mixing, concrete finishing, and flagstone installation Must be organized, punctual, and capable of working independently or within a team A work truck is an asset -- we are currently expanding our company fleet and a company work van or truck may be provided in the future.
