Duties:

Drive the after school van Learn OMAC's school curriculum, including forms and self-defense, as well as WT Kukkiwon regulated poomsae Adhere to the class structure by operating fun and applicable warm-up segments and/or kicking technique segments Lead Taekwondo classes Address a large group of students with ease Provide positive reinforcement to all students Motivate students to improve at each rank Provide adequate feedback to each student so as to ensure their improvement Enforce school policies and boundaries where applicable Works to create a strong team with Instructors and Masters Assist with after school and camp programmes (ex: crafts, games, field trips) Supervise children and ensure safety
Preferred qualifications:

WT Taekwondo black belt, or black belt of another martial art Volunteer or paid teaching experience Thrives in a team dynamic Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks Independent and self-motivated Strong communication skills Strong emphasis on positive customer interactions Ability to connect with students and families to develop strong relationships Reliable and accountable Excels in a work environment with children Uses critical thinking to develop a structured lesson plan Open to learning new skills Evening and weekend availability
Requirements:

Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background Check required for employment Class G driver's license Driver's abstract First Aid and CPR Level C certificate for working with children

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
