Marketing VP/Executive (Construction) : Wage: $55.0/hour Working type: Full time, permanent Work Location: #201-22832 South Fraser Way Abbotsford BC Start date: As soon as possible Job Duties: - Develop marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, policies, and procedures, as well as best practices to achieve targeted opportunities - Develop, revise, maintain, and implement internal policies to improve effectiveness of departments - Build and manage a high-performing departments, including key mid-level management roles, with the goal to facilitate short-term and long-term company growth - Manage budget and expenditures of the departments - Guide and supervise marketing research, prepare forecast of the marketing area in the construction industry - Maintain a good knowledge of current marketing techniques and trends, as well as development of the construction industry - Manage and supervise diverse of material and resources to develop business further - Guide and supervise operation of the marketing department - Approve and supervise implementation of marketing plans and events - Participate in recruitment of middle level management team as required - Manage work between departments and teams - Act as bridge between the company and third-party organizations as demand - Establish and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Job Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor or above in communications, public relations, marketing, media or in a related field is required; - Minimum 5 years of work experience in leadership roles of marketing is required; - Excellent organizational and planning skills; - Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work with senior executives and team members alike; - Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and ensure that the business outcomes are being achieved; - Self-motivated with expertise in online and offline channels; - Ability to work well with many strong personalities and lead departments to one common goal; - Problem analysis, creative problem-solving working with facts and data reaching valid conclusions; - Ability to maintain a high-level of professionalism while under stress and deadlines; - Business-minded with strong organizational and time-management skills; - Strong understanding of advertising concepts and marketing funnels; - Excellent networking and relationship building skills; - Strong interpersonal ability.
