Software and Managed Services Strategy Specialist - Hybrid

  • Have you launched a Managed Services or Software solutions?
  • Can you develop a strategic approach to developing/recommending and implementing a new service and/or solution?



As the Software and Managed Services Strategy Specialist, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Strategy Planning and play a pivotal role in creating strategic actions and lifecycle management plans for Canon Canada\xe2\x80\x99s complete Software and Managed Services portfolio. You will drive impactful recommendations and action plans, based on the data you gather and analyze from multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Business Planning to develop detailed product launch plans for the Software and Managed Services portfolio.
  • Recommend impactful communication tools in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, including presentations, marketing materials, samples, and web-based tools.
  • Monitor sales KPIs to identify strengths and areas of improvement within Software and solutions line.
  • Work with various departments to make recommendations and initiate strategic programs based on identified opportunities.
  • Guide relevant team members in executing strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and reporting of KPIs related to the Software and Managed Services portfolio.
  • Maintain updated knowledge by liaising with other Canon sales companies and affiliated industry organizations.



To Succeed, You Will Need:
  • Post-Secondary education in Business or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in managing product life cycles required.
  • Intermediate analytical skills to assess customer requirements and gather information from diverse sources.
  • Intermediate time management and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities and projects effectively.
  • Intermediate project/process management skills for planning, coordinating, and executing strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data filtering.
  • Fluency in both French and English is an asset.
  • Experience working with Canon product lines is advantageous.
