PURPOSE OF EMPLOYMENT

The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of marketing activities and projects as well as social media for the Bikini Village brand. Evolving in a creative and dynamic environment, the manager\'s role is first to suggest strategic ideas for the launch of collections, new products, promotional initiatives as well as social media management.

Daily, the manager oversees the progress of projects and ensures a proper flow of information within the marketing team. The manager is also responsible for maintaining relationships with BIKINI VILLAGE\'s external marketing partners. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the development, execution, and performance of the day-to-day operations of Bikini Village\'s social platforms. He/she supervises the Social Media Coordinator, conceptualizes social media strategies, and leads the deployment of any changes and projects with the aim of maximizing the reach, engagement and sales potential of social media channels.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develop the marketing strategy for product launches, new collections and promotions;
  • Develop business links with our brands, suggest and prepare campaigns;
  • Ensure the production of complete strategic documents delivered within pre-established deadlines with the Director;
  • Management of a 2 person team: Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator;
  • Hire, train, coach and motivate your team;
  • ROI analysis and provide reports to evaluate the performance of marketing & social media activities;
  • Manage and adhere to the annual budget allocated to activities related to marketing and social media, partnerships and content creators;
  • Collaborate with the acquisition team to align focus of product launches and new collections for digital advertising
  • Manage Bikini Village advertising, traditional and digital; Timing of offensives, product launches, segments to develop, creative concepts to realize, optimize and measure results. All in collaboration with the specialized acquisition team.
  • Develop and manage business relationships with external partners to increase Bikini Village\'s brand awareness
Brand Marketing
  • Generate concept ideas for collection and product launches;
  • Manage and supervise all photoshoot & concept schedules for the launch of collections; (photos & videos);
  • Supervise collection documents prepared for in-store sales teams
  • Liaison with the visual team for all in-store branding and the e-commerce team for website content;
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase traffic and customer acquisition;
  • Store Opens: Manage, monitor, and measure strategy performance;
  • Supervise & manage internal or external events (e.g. fashion shows, shopping center or social media events,)
  • Conduct frequent strategic intelligence to keep abreast of the latest trends in fashion and design;
Social Media
  • Manage & supervise the social media calendar taking into account merchandise arrivals, marketing focus and various promotions;
  • Develop, establish and maintain relationships with content creators, organize campaigns and ensure compliance with agreements;
  • Measure social media performance on an ongoing basis in order to identify problems and opportunities and thus propose innovative ideas and solutions;
  • Develop strategies to increase followers on social networks, ultimately convert into customers.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, fashion marketing, communication, management or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position in the retail or consumer products sector
  • Relevant experience in the development of marketing strategies and great ability to influence and coach
  • Bilingualism, oral and written (French and English);
  • Experience in retail and/or fashion (an asset);
  • Excellent knowledge of social media, digital marketing and the different marketing channels used as part of 360 strategies;
  • Team management and leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Proactive and initiative-oriented;
  • Great attention to detail and ability to deliver tight deadlines;
  • Excellent sense of organization and priorities;
  • Ability to work closely with multiple teams;
