Role Overview:

The Marketing Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that elevate our brand presence and drive growth for both Thunderstruck Ag Equipment and our clients. This position requires a strong background in strategic marketing, an understanding of the agricultural industry, and the ability to lead multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will have experience in both digital and traditional marketing, alongside a passion for agricultural innovation and a collaborative mindset to work alongside our creative and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Thunderstruck Ag Equipment and our clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Define target audiences and segment marketing strategies accordingly, using both data and insights to drive decision-making.
• Identify growth opportunities through research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Lead campaign development, from ideation to execution, ensuring all marketing initiatives are consistent with brand messaging and contribute to company goals.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
• Manage client expectations, presenting regular updates on campaign performance and recommending adjustments based on results.
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their main marketing strategist and providing continuous support.

3. Data-Driven Decision Making

• Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjusting tactics to optimize performance.
• Monitor ROI on marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional channels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure campaigns are scalable and adaptable, making adjustments in real-time based on evolving customer behaviour or market trends.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Work closely with the VP of Marketing and other team members to create cohesive multi-channel marketing plans, ensuring seamless execution across all touch-points.
• Provide mentorship and strategic direction to the marketing team, collaborating with content creators, digital specialists, and coordinators to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Support and guide other departments (sales, product) to align marketing efforts with overall business strategy and client needs.

5. Agricultural Industry Expertise

• Leverage knowledge of the agriculture industry to create strategies that resonate with farmers and agricultural businesses.
• Keep up to date with agricultural trends, new technologies, and market conditions to ensure marketing strategies remain relevant and competitive.
• Work with product teams to understand the technical details of agricultural products, creating marketing materials that effectively communicate product value to the target audience.

6. Campaign & Budget Management

• Manage marketing budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently across various campaigns and initiatives.
• Develop and manage timelines for project execution, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on strategic planning, digital marketing, and client management.
• Proven experience in agricultural marketing or a deep understanding of the farming industry and its needs.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing, social media) and their integration with traditional marketing efforts.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting--comfortable using marketing analytics tools and adjusting strategies based on data insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy to clients and internal teams.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas that resonate with the target audience.
• Leadership and teamwork skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
