Our team of biocontrol experts, technologists, and grower-focused innovators is redefining how pest management works--through precision scouting, locally produced beneficial insects, and high-impact technical support.


We are now expanding our marketing team to support aggressive growth plans and strengthen our position as a go-to biological control partner for large-scale, high-tech greenhouses

About the Role:

This is not a typical "marketing coordinator" job. You will

own the purpose

of designing and executing marketing initiatives that generate engagement, increase qualified leads, and support the mission of the Revenue Generation circle. You'll be supported by content creators, designers, sales teammates, and technical advisors--and you'll lead campaigns from ideation to conversion.


This role is

ideal for a self-managing, high-agency marketing operator

Role Purpose

To design and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that increase awareness, build trust, and generate qualified leads for Crop Defenders' biological control programs.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaign Design



Develop and launch marketing campaigns tied to strategic offers (e.g., free trials, webinars, Biotalk events) Create compelling outreach email templates (cold/warm) for sales sequences Conduct research on greenhouse grower market segments, regional opportunities, and pest pain points Plan pre-, during-, and post-event communication flows in sync with events team

Digital & Social Execution



Publish and manage content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Track reach, engagement, and click-through rates of digital content Coordinate with external video editors, designers, and consultants when needed Maintain a content posting calendar and contribute to relational marketing (e.g., testimonial outreach)

Content Creation & Personalization



Write short-form social media captions, CTAs, and email subject lines Create personalized follow-up emails using FORD (Family, Occupation, Recreation, Dreams) data Participate in scriptwriting for videos, product launch teasers, and customer case studies

CRM & Outreach Operations



Work inside HubSpot CRM to execute segmented campaigns and track response Manage marketing automation tasks and handoff points to the sales team Collaborate with the In-Person Connector and Deal Closer roles to align campaign messaging

Must-Have Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in B2B or agtech marketing (growth-stage or startup preferred) Proven results in campaign execution, content writing, or digital channel management Demonstrated ability to write persuasively and structure marketing assets for conversion Hands-on experience with marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Canva, etc.) Excellent project ownership, time management, and self-prioritization skills

Bonus Assets (Not Required but Preferred)

Familiarity with greenhouse agriculture or biocontrol ecosystem Video editing or storytelling experience (Adobe Premiere, Descript, etc.) Experience working in Holacratic, Teal, or self-managed teams Copywriting experience in the Alex Hormozi / StoryBrand style
