As we expand to meet the growing demand for Canadian immigration services, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to focus on our company website SEO while supporting cross-channel campaigns and events that build trust and generate qualified consultations.
Position Overview
This role leads company website growth and supports digital channels and events. Responsibilities include English and/or Chinese SEO strategy, clear and trustworthy web copy for immigration and education topics, and disciplined measurement to convert organic traffic and event interest into qualified consultations.
Key Responsibilities
Build English and/or Chinese keywords strategy and search-intent clusters; plan and publish landing pages and articles with on-page optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, image alt text), structured FAQ/schema, and clear calls to action.
Direct indexation, canonical tags, XML sitemaps/robots, redirects, and hreflang for bilingual pages; improve Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed with developers or vendors; conduct regular site crawls and resolve issues promptly.
Manage Google Business Profile, review generation, and location/service pages to strengthen discovery and conversions.
Translate immigration and education insights into search-ready content, and repurpose for WeChat, RED, Douyin/TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and email with clean attribution tagging.
Plan and execute webinars, workshops, and information sessions end-to-end (landing pages, registration, reminders, run-of-show) and track the funnel from registration to attendance to consultation.
Align topics and proof points with Sales and Case Processing; manage marketing and event budgets and vendor relationships with accountability for outcomes.
Qualifications
Two to four or more years in SEO-focused digital marketing (agency or in?house) with demonstrated growth in organic traffic and conversions for content-heavy sites.
Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar crawler, PageSpeed/Core Web Vitals, and Looker Studio.
Strong on-page and technical SEO skills including indexation, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, redirects, and structured data; Local SEO including Google Business Profile optimization, reviews, and location pages.
Clear, concise web writing in English and Mandarin appropriate for related topics in immigration and education.
Effective project management, attention to detail, and deadline discipline; able to partner with development, design, and sales teams.
Experience producing short-form video and basic creative assets is an advantage but not required.
Experience in Canadian immigration or international education is an advantage.
