Job Overview


This dynamic marketing role provides essential support to the family of companies at Meraki Resources. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist handles day-to-day social media management, coordinates the production of marketing materials with designers and vendors, and assists with campaign execution and event logistics.

Responsibilities include maintaining company websites, creating content under senior team guidance, organizing marketing asset libraries, tracking performance metrics, and providing administrative support to keep projects running smoothly. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple marketing functions while working alongside experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn while contributing to a dynamic marketing environment.

Responsibilities



Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, signage, and branded collateral, working with designers and vendors to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery Lead day-to-day social media activities across company platforms including content creation, content scheduling, community engagement, responding to comments, and monitoring brand mentions to maintain an active online presence Support the execution of marketing campaigns by handling logistical tasks such as (but not limited to) email distribution, coordinating and shipping event materials, and tracking campaign deliverables Maintain and update the company websites with fresh content, accurate contact information, project highlights, and resource materials while ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines Assist in creating marketing content including (but not limited to) blog articles, email newsletters, and thought leadership content under the guidance of senior team members Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gather insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential marketing opportunities for review by the senior marketer on the team Coordinate trade show and event logistics including booth materials, promotional items, photos of the event, and more Maintain marketing asset libraries and databases including photography, templates, brand materials, and vendor contacts to ensure easy access for the team Track and report on basic marketing metrics such as social media performance, website statistics, email open rates, and campaign performance using analytics tools Provide administrative support to the marketing and communications team including scheduling meetings, preparing presentation materials, processing invoices, and managing project timelines to keep initiatives on track

Experience



Post-secondary education in digital marketing, marketing, or commensurate work experience. One to two years of experience in complex organizations and/or in a corporate setting. Experience executing on a Marketing Plan. Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders. Specific knowledge and experience of Microsoft365 including Office, Teams and SharePoint.

Working Conditions



This is a fully remote position from Monday-Friday requiring the employee to work from a home office in British Columbia or Alberta with stable internet access. Some travel may be required to company office locations.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
