Who You Are
As the Insurance Marketing Specialist, you'll be a key player in our Insurance Marketing team, working alongside product experts, business leaders, and creative partners to develop integrated marketing strategies that fuel growth and member engagement. This role covers a diverse portfolio--from auto and property insurance to travel, business, and life insurance --giving you a broad canvas to apply your creativity and strategic thinking.
You'll be responsible for developing marketing plans, managing multi-channel campaigns, and delivering measurable results that support AMA's reputation as Alberta's trusted insurance provider. But you won't do it alone--you'll collaborate with our team of experts who each specialize in a critical marketing function, from copywriting and design to SEO and analytics. How You'll Make an ImpactStrategic Planning: You'll develop and execute annual and campaign-specific marketing plans for AMA's insurance products, aligning strategies with business goals and member needs. You'll bring a strategic mindset to translate those goals into effective, data-informed marketing initiatives. Campaign Development: You'll create and manage integrated campaigns across digital, social, out-of-home, and in-centre channels. With a blend of creativity and analytical thinking, you'll drive member engagement and optimize performance. Positioning: You'll craft compelling messages and creative briefs that clearly communicate the value of AMA Insurance. Your storytelling skills will help connect with diverse audiences and set us apart in a competitive market. Collaboration: You'll partner with insurance product teams, business stakeholders, legal counsel, creative services, and external agencies. Your strong interpersonal skills will help you build effective relationships and bring marketing strategies to life. Digital Optimization: You'll enhance and maintain insurance content on AMA's website and landing pages, ensuring an engaging and consistent user experience. Your attention to detail will keep everything on-brand and impactful. Analytics & Insights: You'll analyze campaign data to measure effectiveness and uncover insights. Your analytical approach will guide strategic decisions and fuel ongoing improvements. Market Intelligence: You'll stay on top of insurance trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape. With curiosity and an eye for innovation, you'll help keep AMA's marketing fresh, relevant, and forward-thinking.


What You Bring to the TableBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of marketing experience working in both digital and traditional marketing building marketing strategies. Experience working in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is an asset. Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into engaging messages. Proven project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
