MARKETING SPECIALIST

LOCATION: INNISFIL, ONTARIO

POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME: MONDAY - FRIDAY

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist will focus on planning, development, and execution of deliverables supporting corporate strategic objectives for multiple business units across North America. While working within a small, dynamic team and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across traditional and digital marketing channels. You will have a hands-on opportunity in shaping and executing various marketing programs and activities, while honing skills across marketing disciplines in a dynamic company and industry. You will be keen, diligent in meeting deadlines and able to manage cross-functional relationships successfully. You have a solid understanding of data-driven marketing programs as well as web, email, and social platforms.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Marketing experience with progressive responsibilities and project management
  • Business or Marketing Degree or Diploma required
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
  • You have a background providing end-to-end support on successful marketing programs and initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Graphic design skills including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, WordPress, Excel, Constant Contact and Google Analytics
  • Outstanding communicator, with a strong command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • You are an analytical marketer who seeks, values, and harnesses data to make informed decisions and plans tactics based on objectives.
  • You are a resilient, self-starting, results-oriented, team-player with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Experience with online content marketing and social media development strategies
  • Proficient in developing, monitoring, and posting social media content
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This position will provide marketing expertise and guidance to various department and team members to ensure that the Company adheres to marketing budget guidelines and procedures and will provide project management expertise in the following areas:
  • Creative Development & Graphic Design \xe2\x80\x93 Design and create high-quality creative assets and marketing materials to assist in print and digital promotional campaigns, product development, and sales support. This can include maintaining and monitoring classified online advertising platforms, branded images and video content, product labels, brochures and other sales collateral, presentations, templates, etc.to support company branding objectives
  • Website Management \xe2\x80\x93 Contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance of all digital properties.
  • Content Marketing \xe2\x80\x93 Contribute to the strategy and end-to-end execution of social media and other content-marketing initiatives. This includes keeping a pulse on relevant trends and researching topics, proposing engaging content ideas, writing compelling short and long-form copy, etc.
  • Social Media Management \xe2\x80\x93 Assist in developing and executing tactics to grow and engage with our online communities, identify opportunities, and assist with social media management, etc.
  • Campaign Development \xe2\x80\x93 Support ongoing planning, execution, and evaluation of email, social, and other digital marketing tactics.
  • Brand Management \xe2\x80\x93 Conduct market research, contribute to brand style guides, manage brand assets and marketing materials, audit for brand compliance, and other brand maintenance and development activities. Coordinate procurement of promotional items and manage basic shipping requirements.
  • Marketing Events \xe2\x80\x93 Coordinate and actively participate in engaging exhibitions at local and international trade and consumer-facing, physical and virtual marketing events. Oversee the organization, planning, follow-up, and evaluation of various company events. Participate in training and/or industry events to ensure up to date knowledge of customers, products, and the industry overall.
