JOB POSTING: Marketing Specialist for Real Estate Broker As a busy Realtor, I am seeking a skilled and motivated part-time Marketing Specialist who can also provide some administrative support to help me grow and nurture my business. Working one-on-one with me, this position will offer part-time hours that will fluctuate based on workload, ranging from 5 to 15 hours per week to start, with the potential for increased hours over time. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create original high-quality content (e.g text, images, videos) that align with brand voice and goals and drive engagement and growth for social media platforms, email, newsletters, and text campaigns.
Monthly newsletter/emails:
  • Plan, develop, write and deploy monthly e-newsletter
  • Create relevant and valuable content and images
  • Monitor metrics and manage email subscribers using Mail Chimp
Social Media:
  • Create compelling social media content to engage with potential clients, respond to comments, monitor results, and help manage the posting calendar
  • Explore new ways to grow and engage prospects and clients through social networks
  • Assist Broker with ideas, shooting and editing of social media videos
  • Help to build a sense of community targeting agent farm area
Website and Blogs:
  • Assist with website management and content creation on new websites and pages
  • Repurpose and create content for blogs and web pages
Event Planning:
  • Assist with event planning as needed; secure permits and insurance, manage invitations and responses, other duties as required
  • Help to build a sense of community targeting agent farm area
Manage client systems:
  • Prepare cards and emails, liaise with suppliers, source and order client gifts, manage delivery/shipping
  • Manage nurture program including sending out emails, responding to inquiries, posting on social media
Administrative duties:
  • Manage and update CRM
  • Compile listing presentations and buyer packages
  • Manage and send out deal flow emails
  • Respond to client emails
  • Assist with preparation, production and mailing of \xe2\x80\x9cjust listed\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cjust sold\xe2\x80\x9d flyers and other mailouts as required
  • Assist with obtaining and compiling showing feedback reports for agent listings
  • Build and maintain image library
High Level of Proficiency is required in the following areas:
  • Social media platforms \xe2\x80\x93 Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIN
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Sheets and Drive
  • Canva, graphic design, and basic video editing skills
  • Exceptional communication, verbal and written
  • High degree of multi-tasking, organization, and time management capability
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
The ideal candidate should have:
  • 1+ years Marketing experience
  • 1+ years of work experience in social media content creation and video editing
  • Excellent command of the English language \xe2\x80\x93 verbal and written
  • A good grasp of social media strategies and how to create creative engaging content
  • Creative and engaging copywriting skills
  • Major attention to detail, good proof-reading skills, and an eye for visual design
  • The ability to work most weekdays during business hours for 2-4 hrs per day, to start
  • Good admin skills, and relentless with follow-up and keeping tasks on track
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and highly resourceful
  • A \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, can take direction, but can also be assertive
  • Real estate background is a plus but not a must
  • Must be willing to invoice for hours worked; and provide a detailed ledger of time billed
  • Mainly work from home, but willing to meet with Broker in South Etobicoke weekly/monthly for video shooting and status meetings
  • Ability to drive is important to pick up/drop off items occasionally
