The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns to grow target audience and/or client databases, drive consent to market and encourage target prospects to engage with relevant Informa content, developing and delivering a wide range of multi-channel marketing activities. The Marcom Coordinator also drives community engagement, increasing community membership, web traffic and conversions.

The key objective for the role is to help execute marketing campaigns that result in target prospects engaging with our brands/products, services and which result in a hard traction, and in increase in our followers/database opt-ins.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with colleagues and external agencies to define marketing tactics along the customer journey, to build brand awareness and consideration, and drive the acquisition of new audiences, measure through social media metrics and database metrics.
  • Partner with external and internal resources to develop and execute community and engagement content including an impactful content calendar executed through various media (eg roundtable events; webinars; op-eds; news insights).
  • Establish automated email streams in Adestra across all consumer events and work with marketing team and show teams to establish nurturing streams.
  • Work with internal resources to generate, manage and define e-mail lists.
  • Write, design and set up/launch prospect and customer engagement e-mail marketing activities using Adestra/email tool.
  • Manage day to day social platforms on Sprinklr/social tool and pull reports to make suggestions for improvements.
  • Recommend social media tactics aligned to brand strategy, write and schedule all planned social posts.
  • Manage website updates via Core/AEM tool (ongoing updates and uploads).
  • Work with external agencies and partners to develop campaign creative working and produce event signage and advertising.
  • Ensure that all market-facing materials are on brand according to brand guidelines.
  • Maximize usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Be accountable for allocated budget.
  • Be present at select shows in person to support show execution.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in Campaign Management, executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire, and solicits action.
  • 2+ years of application of marketing digital metrics in day-to-day work.
  • 2+ years of experience e-mail marketing. Experience designing email marketing campaign automated flows, lead nurturing streams.
  • Proven ability to write content for social media/web pages\xe2\x80\x93 samples will be requested.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills for social media\xe2\x80\x93 samples will be requested.
  • Understanding of design and creative principles \xe2\x80\x93 ability to judge quality of creative ad design.
  • Community management background / driving organic social media engagement.
  • Content marketing experience: art of using relevant, engaging content to attract and nurture prospects through the buyer journey.
  • Strong relationship management and ability to nurture relationships with community members as well as collaborate across teams internally.
  • Can demonstrate an entrepreneurial collaborative approach, bringing fresh and exciting ideas for marketing growth campaigns or new content/community initiatives.
  • Prior experience in working cross functionally and being able to synthesize feedback in a concise and informative manner.
  • Prior experience of managing project activity, ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • 2+ years Practical experience of collateral production and design.
  • Previous experience or training with CORE/AEM, Adestra/Eloqua, InFront, Google Analytics. Excel/data skills preferred.
  • Experience with promoting events and digital activities that generate engagement.
  • Background or Interest in design or arts preferred.
