WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IN THIS ROLE

As a member of the property\xe2\x80\x99s leadership team, Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s image and position within the marketplace.

The role will require a strong foundation in writing, visual thinking, presentation development, executive positioning, project management, networking, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate must be able to experiment, quickly pivot and apply learnings.

\xc2\xb7 Design, implement, and facilitate the annual marketing plan for the hotel. Identifying the challenges in each year throughout the booking cycle and developing a plan with tactics to address the concerns.

\xc2\xb7 Plan and administer the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s annual marketing budget.

\xc2\xb7 Marketing and Public Relations implementation at a brand and local level, including community involvement, hotel activations, and guest experiences.

\xc2\xb7 Develop content across diverse communications channels, including stakeholder emails, newsletters, presentations, social media posts, executive talking points, internal channel posts, fact sheets, document templates, and other strategic communication vehicles.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure consistent communication of image and position throughout the hotel, as well as to all internal and external constituencies.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with leadership and brand teams on assets to maximize sponsorship and partnership opportunities. Communicate the brand value proposition and key messages.

\xc2\xb7 Facilitate and coordinate all media relations and press releases. Ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Four years of experience in Marketing and PR (hotel, travel-related industry, luxury retail preferred)

\xc2\xb7 Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

\xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, including the ability to lead, guide and achieve goals

\xc2\xb7 Ability to use analytical data to create a results-driven approach
