We're experts in tree removal and tree care services, including pruning, hedge trimming, and planting. We are passionate about trees and nature, and we're looking for a Social Media Specialist who can help us showcase our expertise online and help us connect with our community in a big way.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you a creative storyteller with a love for nature? We're seeking a Part-Time Social Media Specialist to manage our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating and posting engaging content, running targeted ad campaigns, and fostering community engagement. Your role is crucial in showcasing the work of our skilled arborists and educating our audience on tree care, all while driving customer engagement and inquiries.

DELIVERABLES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social Media Content Creation

Develop visually appealing and informative content that reflects Timberscapes' brand and mission. Highlight the expertise of our arborists and educate the audience on tree care. Visit job sites to capture photos and videos that showcase ongoing projects, our Arborists' work, and transformations in landscapes. Edit videos--skilled in cutting, pacing, adding music, text, and transitions--to create polished, engaging videos for YouTube and social media.

Ad Campaign Management

Plan, create, and manage targeted ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Regularly analyze ad performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize engagement and conversion rates. Implement and optimize an SEO-driven hashtag strategy

Content Calendar Development

Maintain a consistent posting schedule that keeps our audience engaged and informed. Collaborate with the arborist team to feature relevant and timely content, such as seasonal tips or project highlights. Respond to all company social media comments, messages, and google reviews Create polls and contests on Instagram and Facebook

Community Engagement

Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner. Foster a sense of community around Timberscapes by sharing user-generated content and encouraging customer interaction. Engage with the community in person through opportunities such as managing a booth at the local farmer's market, participating in the Sutton parade, and other brand promotion activities.

Performance Reporting and Optimization

Provide a monthly performance report with detailed analytics on engagement, follower growth, ad performance, and content effectiveness. Test and implement new social media trends or features (e.g., Instagram Reels, Stories)

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in creating and editing engaging videos Experience managing social media accounts, particularly on Facebook and Instagram, for a service-oriented business. Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to create content that resonates with an audience interested in tree care and the environment. Experience in social media ad creation, SEO, targeting, and optimization. Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track and report on performance. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistent posting schedule. Willingness to visit job sites and participate in in-person community events. A genuine interest in trees, nature, and environmental stewardship.
