We strive to have a remarkable impact on people\xe2\x80\x99s lives across several key therapeutic areas: immunology, oncology, neuroscience, eye care, virology, women\xe2\x80\x99s health, and gastroenterology, in addition to products and services across our Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.We are presently recruiting for a talented and experienced individual to influence the strategic vision and shape the future for brands within our Rheumatology Business Unit and lead a team of marketers in the development and execution of strategic, insights-based marketing plans. The position will report to the Business Unit Manager, Rheumatology and will be based in our Saint-Laurent office.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Unit Manager on the development and communication of the business unit\xe2\x80\x99s vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of engagement amongst the marketing team.
  • Coach and lead the marketing team to ensure that robust strategic brand plans are developed and executed with excellence.
  • Analyze external risks and opportunities and lead the cross-functional team in the development of action plans.
  • Develop relationships with key external stakeholders, including External Experts.
  • Ensure strategic spend of Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget by marketing team and adherence to financial processes.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure alignment with business unit and brand strategies and optimal execution of solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Unit Manager on the development of annual strategic plans and long-range financial plans (LRP).
  • Contribute to the development of monthly demand planning / forecast for the brands and ensure planned sales goals are achieved.
  • Support the team in the planning and coordination of the national sales meeting and cycle meetings, ensuring brand managers are well prepared to roll out solutions effectively and on time.
  • Collaborate with Global teams, including Affiliate colleagues to optimize the outcome of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop marketing department succession management plan and coach and mentor direct reports in alignment with their development needs.
QualificationsEducation/Experience required:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Science or related field is required. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is considered an asset.
  • Relevant business experience with proven track record of success within biotech/pharmaceutical industry:
  • Minimum five years marketing experience; experience within relevant therapeutic area is considered an asset.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience. Sales management experience considered an asset.
  • Additional commercial cross-functional experience considered an asset.
  • Experience in leading people and building high performance teams is considered an asset.
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes, market access, and the regulatory environment is required.
  • Proven track record of taking in diverse data and perspectives in the development of insights-based strategies focused on doing what is right for the customer, the team, and the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape portfolio strategy and make strategic trade offs amongst competing priorities
Essential skills and abilities:
  • English & French language proficiency (oral and written) is required.
  • Directing, supervising, and delegating assignments and reviewing the work of department employees, work teams and project teams.
  • Develop and retain marketing talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive & communicate vision and strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams as an effective and genuine team player.
  • Comfortable in a matrix structure. Strong collaborator.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Travel required up to 20% of the time.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and passport.
