Both companies are committed to engineering innovative and reliable solutions tailored to niche applications. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth across both organizations in collaboration with the Business Development team.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP, Growth and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing niche marketing strategies to expand brand presence and generate leads from OEMs and B2B customers across multiple verticals in collaboration with the business development and engineering teams.
This role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution, team leadership, and close collaboration with sales and business development teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B industrial or technology marketing, with expertise in demand generation, content marketing, and brand positioning within specialized industries.
This position will oversee the marketing activities of two brands located in Toronto, Canada, and the Greater Los Angeles area in the U.S. It presents an exciting opportunity for professional growth, offering diverse projects across industries such as HVAC, renewable energy, telematics, consumer electronics, military and defense, government, and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Business Growth
Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies tailored to Avnan's and Falcon Electric's specialized markets.
Work closely with Business Development and Sales teams to identify new market opportunities and create customized campaigns.
Establish and refine brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate in competitive markets.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies and identify growth areas.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to optimize marketing efforts.
Define and manage key marketing performance metrics (MQLs, SQLs, engagement rates, ROI).
Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing
Design and execute lead generation campaigns targeting high-value B2B customers and OEMs.
Develop and oversee an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy to engage key industry segments.
Optimize digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing, to increase brand visibility and lead conversion.
Work with sales to develop effective lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion strategies.
Marketing Operations & External Management
Manage marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Oversee the development of marketing materials, including product brochures, white papers, case studies, and presentations.
Lead the CRM and marketing automation strategy, ensuring seamless collaboration between marketing and sales teams.
Manage external agencies, freelancers, and service providers for PR, digital marketing, and content creation.
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and webinars to showcase Avnan's and Falcon Electric's capabilities.
Develop and oversee content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, technical articles, and video content.
Establish partnerships with industry associations, trade publications, and influencers to expand market reach.
Our Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in electronics, industrial, or power solutions sectors.
Fluency in English both written and oral.
Strong track record of niche marketing and demand generation in specialized markets.
Proven experience collaborating with business development and sales teams to drive revenue growth.
Expertise in digital marketing, content marketing, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.).
Experience managing cross-functional teams, external vendors, and agencies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication, project management and leadership abilities.
Must have ability to travel internationally.
Must have ability to work in Canada or the US without sponsorship
