WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Historically, we have not been a company that focuses on traditional marketing efforts. We attribute our growth and success to our product expertise, and longstanding customer relationships. Looking to the future, we would like to complement this with thoughtful, and relevant marketing initiatives. We are seeking a highly capable person to help us build and implement a comprehensive, and measurable marketing strategy for our group of businesses. After a thorough onboarding period of gaining insight into our product offerings, customers, and operational processes, the successful candidate will be tasked with assembling and leading a small marketing team comprising of contractors, freelancers, and full-time employees tailored to scale to our evolving marketing needs. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, takes initiative, and feels comfortable asking questions to find out our customer needs. It is important that this person strives to become knowledgeable in the many intricacies of the business such as customer service, production, sales, and product understanding. This position will require excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an aptitude for fostering collaborative work environments. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including increasing brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and generating leads.
  • Manage and oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, social media marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, advertising campaigns, and events.
  • Supporting the Brand Group of companies in building brand collateral such as technical data sheets, brochures, presentation, etc\xe2\x80\xa6 all remaining consistent to our brand guidelines and identity.
  • Building and maintaining a digital asset system.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product development) to align marketing efforts with business goals and product/service offerings.
  • Provide creative direction on content creation such as photography, video and copy writing.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery of campaigns and projects.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster growth and success.
  • This role may require the occasional site visit to our facilities in Les C\xc3\xa8dres, QC and Buffalo, NY.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve marketing strategies and tactics.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in a marketing management role.
  • A portfolio of past marketing campaigns. Please come prepared to present examples of your past work during our interview process.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, CRM software, social media management tools, and marketing automation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and ensure project completion.

  • Marketing experience within a manufacturing B2B sector
  • Post secondary education in a design field
