What is the opportunity?

As a Marketing Manager for Global Recruitment, you are responsible for the successful management of high-impact, high-visibility initiatives that help RBC identify, attract and retain top talent globally. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work as a trusted advisor to multiple RBC business lines as you work to help them achieve their talent objectives. You\xe2\x80\x99ll serve as an expert on the competitive talent landscape and on marketing all with the goal of delivering effective, strategic recommendations. You leverage our internal subject matter experts in social media, events, creative and data, to create innovative marketing campaigns that help our business partners solve their talent problems. You are comfortable answering questions about how the RBC brand is communicated and experienced by candidates, and how the recruitment experience fits into broader client experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Recruitment Marketing and part of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s Employer Brand & Workplace Marketing team, you will partner with colleagues across the immediate team, as well as those in the broader HR organization. You also closely partner with business line leaders and other RBC Marketing, and Brand teams, to help identify new ways to go to market to tell our story in a way that stands out and resonates with prospective talent. You will leverage your expertise in digital strategies to add measurable impact to our employer brand and recruitment marketing initiatives. Your ultimate goal? To drive understanding of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s Employee Value Proposition and position RBC as the Employer of Choice among external talent.

What will you do?

  • Act as a trusted marketing advisor who can proactively guide senior leadership
  • Manage the creation and execution of strategic recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Lead the creation and execution of strategic recruitment marketing campaigns to target business and functional talent needs and ensure we are positioned to attract, engage and acquire talent
  • Act as the Project Manager to ensure successful end-to-end implementation of marketing campaigns and activities
  • Ensure campaign creatives are on-brand throughout the candidate journey and across all touchpoints such as landing pages, emails, partner pages and more.
  • Monitor, manage, and report the results of initiatives, including working closely with cross-functional teams (i.e. recruitment) to ensure accurate attribution.
  • Analyze campaign results to track performance, identify wins and learnings, trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations and actionable insights to continuously improve programs
  • Visualize and present campaign results and ROI in performance updates and wrap-up reports to senior leadership
  • Assist with the optimization and redesign of the RBC jobs site with the goal of increasing high quality website traffic and onsite engagement.
  • Manage email marketing strategy and projects including evaluating current campaigns and programs, and recommending improvements
  • Manage automation emails, editorial and A/B testing calendar
  • Impact and influence key business partners to drive continuous recruitment initiatives
  • Provide leadership and foster collaboration with integrated support teams, stakeholders, and agency partners to deliver creative that is on brand, on time, and on budget to drive results
What do you need to succeed?

Must have:
  • 5 to 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in targeted marketing and performance marketing, with a focus on paid, digital, content and social media
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional and digital advertising mediums
  • Analytical mindset with experience drawing insights from qualitative and quantitative data; delivering insights and reporting to stakeholders to inform strategy
  • First-rate communication and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting to audiences of different seniority
  • High attention to detail, exceptionally organized, strategic and able to lead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with recruiting platforms, social media, search engine, web, analytics, marketing automation and other tools that support building awareness and demand generation with candidates
  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization to drive projects from aligning senior management to strategic plans to leading a team through market execution.
  • Experience managing external agency and partner relationships

  • Intermediate to expert SEO skills and experience

  • Experience in fast-paced environments and large matrix organizations
