Flat Rock Cellars is an estate winery located in Jordan, Ontario and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. is a craft lager house situated in Dundas, Ontario. As a member of our small team, you'll have the opportunity to wear many hats and "that's not my job" isn't in our vocabulary. We do what needs to be done to ensure we achieve our goal of becoming everyone's favourite winery and brewery. It's possible!

The Role:

It's a big moment for us. We've just completed a massive winery renovation, launched a full rebrand, unveiled bold new beer packaging, and expanded our footprint across the country. Now we're ready to shout it from the rooftops - and we need you to help us do it.

If you're a creative thinker, strong writer, social media pro, strategic organizer, and natural storyteller who loves wine and beer--this role was made for you.

In this full-time, in-person role, you'll work across both brands, collaborate with every department, and play a central part in shaping how people discover, experience, and fall in love with Flat Rock Cellars and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co.

You'll report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Travel between Jordan and Dundas is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing

Develop eye-catching marketing materials and assets that boost brand awareness and elevate perception.

Oversee sourcing, ordering, storage, and inventory of marketing collateral.

Manage interdepartmental timelines and calendars to keep everyone aligned and delivering on time.

Maintain product sheets, sales assets, and vintage updates.

Regularly update website content - events, SEO improvements, visual refreshes.

Build smart external partnerships with influencers and like-minded brands to expand reach.

Coordinate media mailings and relationships with journalists, writers, and critics to generate third-party endorsement.

Drive traffic and engagement to our winery, brewery, partners (e.g., LCBO, key licensees), and digital platforms.

Content Creation

Bring big, bold, outside-the-box ideas to the table.

Develop original content across video, LinkedIn, press releases, social, blogs, and more. Help position our brands as industry thought leaders.

Own and execute a top-tier social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.

Build and manage a forward-looking content calendar.

Explore new and emerging platforms--be an early adopter.

Pitch fresh ideas to grow audiences, launch new channels, and elevate engagement.

Engage daily with our online communities; respond to inquiries and comments with warmth and speed.
