SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager, B2B IT & Information Display (ID) is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen LG's position within the Canadian B2B market. This role oversees marketing activities across LG's commercial product portfolio -- including ID, Commercial TVs, B2B Laptops, Monitors, and Projectors -- with the objective of driving brand growth, market share, and revenue performance.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a balance of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing within a B2B technology environment.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility and positions LG as a market leader within the B2B IT and ID categories.
Define and communicate clear brand positioning and messaging frameworks tailored to priority verticals such as education, hospitality, corporate, healthcare, and retail.
Align marketing objectives with corporate and divisional business goals, ensuring consistent brand representation across all channels and partners.
Campaign Management & Execution
Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, media, PR, event, and sponsorship channels.
Oversee the development of creative assets and collateral to support demand generation, product awareness, and sales enablement.
Manage product launch activities including marketing communications, trade promotions, product reviews, and media outreach.
Ensure that all marketing initiatives adhere to LG's global brand guidelines and deliver measurable results.
Channel & Trade Marketing
Develop and implement trade marketing programs to strengthen LG's visibility with resellers, distributors, and system integrators.
Manage co-branded marketing and MDF (Market Development Fund) programs in collaboration with channel partners, ensuring brand consistency and ROI accountability.
Conduct regular market visits to assess execution, collect insights, and identify optimization opportunities.
Partner & Agency Management
Manage relationships with external agencies, including advertising, digital, media, and research partners, to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
Collaborate closely with Product and Sales Managers to align marketing activities with product roadmaps and sales objectives.
Support strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade events, and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand credibility and exposure.
Market Intelligence & Performance Analysis
Monitor and analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategy and execution.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate marketing effectiveness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Provide regular performance reports and insights to management, including recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget Management & Administration
Oversee the annual marketing budget for the B2B IT/ID division, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely processing of invoices in compliance with company policies.
Review and adjust marketing plans based on business performance and market dynamics.
Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA considered an asset).
5-7 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the technology, IT hardware, or display industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and lead-generation programs.
Experience managing agency relationships and multi-channel campaign execution.
Proven ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments and competing priorities.
Prior experience in the Canadian B2B Commercial Display or IT sector is a strong asset
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms is a strong asset
