We\'re currently looking to hire a Marketing Manager for a local AI-based tech company that automates repetitive processes in the insurance industry. Their robot fleet lets their customers, currently insurance brokers, automate some of their most time-consuming and repetitive processes by handing them off to a software robot. These software robots are into customers software systems and work within their processes similar to how a person would, but at lightning speed and for a fraction of the cost.

Though they are currently tackling massive problems around repetitive and high-volume work in the insurance industry, they will be expanding outwards to other industries over the next few years where this technology can have an even larger impact. They\xe2\x80\x99ve raised venture capital from US and Canadian VCs to help achieve their mission of optimizing the global workforce and are growing fast (Successfully 10X\xe2\x80\x99ed their annual recurring revenue in 2022).

They\'re a hybrid company based in Vancouver, with a vibrant office in Gastown.
Full-time employees are expected to be in office 3 days a week.

As they embark on our next phase of growth, they\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager who has experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns. The manager should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and strive under tight deadlines to meet the company\'s changing needs.

Who are we looking for to fill this role?

Preferred role requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience in marketing.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • A portfolio containing writing samples and marketing campaigns that can be thoughtfully explained.
  • The ability to travel 10% - 20% of the time.
  • Experience in the B2B marketing space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
What will this role do every day?

The ideal marketing manager will:
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, like Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective marketing collateral and campaigns.
  • Design engagement tradeshow / conference marketing programs that generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Manage all tradeshow / conference planning, logistics, and onsite execution.
  • Extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  • Manage email, performance marketing, and web teams to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics.
