Job Description

As a seasoned, hands-on marketing leader, the Marketing Manager will drive sales growth, lead generation, and brand development through cutting-edge digital marketing and e-commerce strategies. Working closely with leadership, you will optimize the marketing funnel, enhance customer engagement, and position Longboard as an industry leader.



This role requires a data-driven, execution-focused marketer with a proven track record in campaign execution, digital channel optimization, and team leadership. You will manage, mentor, and develop an in-house marketing team of four, fostering a high-performance environment and ensuring strategic initiatives drive measurable impact.



One of your key challenges will be to create a new, impactful tagline that embodies Longboard's vision and aligns with our brand identity, setting the tone for all future marketing efforts.

What You Will Do:


Strategic Development & Brand Leadership


• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, PR, paid media, and packaging to strengthen Longboard's market position.
• Lead brand identity and messaging, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice across all channels.
• Manage a cohesive content calendar, strategically aligning marketing campaigns with market trends and business objectives.


Sales Growth & Lead Generation


• Drive sales funnel optimization, ensuring seamless lead nurturing from initial engagement to customer advocacy.
• Leverage SEO, PPC, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and paid advertising to generate high-quality leads and convert them into long-term customers.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including architectural specifications for commercial and residential projects.


Leadership & Collaboration


• Manage and mentor a high-performing in-house marketing team, ensuring strong execution and continuous growth.
• Partner with leadership to align marketing strategies with business goals, secure necessary resources, and drive accountability.
• Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and high ROI.


Data-Driven Marketing & Campaign Execution


• Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, continuously testing and optimizing for maximum impact.
• Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies, improve customer engagement, and enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Perform competitive audits and fine-tune Longboard's brand presence across digital platforms.


Customer Advocacy & Loyalty Programs


• Develop customer advocacy and loyalty programs that increase retention and drive referrals.
• Implement innovative ambassador initiatives and loyalty mechanisms to strengthen customer relationships.





Qualifications:


• 4+ years of leadership experience managing an in-house team including at least three direct reports.
• Proven experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on lead generation, campaign execution, and e-commerce.
• Requires being on-site to effectively mentor, develop, and align the marketing team.
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
• Proven success in driving sales through digital and traditional marketing channels.
• Highly analytical, with expertise in Google Analytics, CRM platforms, paid media, and A/B testing to optimize marketing performance.
• Strategic and creative mindset, balancing data-driven decision-making with innovative marketing approaches.
• Strong storytelling and brand development skills, with experience in content marketing and messaging.
• Results-driven approach, with a passion for experimentation, adaptation, and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex marketing strategies to stakeholders.
• Must possess a humble, ego-free approach with a willingness to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
