Marketing Intern Regional Food Distribution Association is looking for a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team. If you want to be mentored and be part of a dedicated team whilst making a difference in peoples lives, this position is for you! RFDA secures and distributes emergency food to meet the needs of Northwestern Ontario by developing and coordinating for the delivery of food donated to community organizations and northern communities for those with food shortages. We require a person with a strong understanding of all marketing tools and digital knowledge. The position will entail planning, designing, executing and evaluating an annual integrated marketing strategy using traditional media, public relations and digital. The candidate will possess:
In-depth understanding of current social media and digital marketing strategies
Adaptability, creativity, and familiarity with contemporary marketing trends
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with senior management, team members, and other stakeholders
Great organizational and time management skills
Persuasive writing, active listening, and speaking or presenting skills
Problem-solving, critical thinking, data analysis, and decisionmaking skills
Project management skills, including goal-setting and timeline management
Good computer skills with some graphic design ability
Event co-ordination duties is an asset
Key duties:
Designing, developing, executing and evaluating the annual marketing campaign strategy
Maintain calendar that schedules all aspects of creation and delivery of advertising and promotion
Create new campaign concepts and subsequently implement strategies
Creating ads for print, radio and TV and digital assets
Writing, editing, and uploading engaging content to various online platforms
Maintain and update website
Conducting market research to determine market segments\xe2\x80\x99 specific needs, habits, interests, and other strategic factors for designing targeted marketing campaigns
Analyzing online traffic and conversion rates, and noting focus areas for future optimization
Some event coordination
Other duties as necessary
