As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

Fresh Prep has a PAID marketing internship available immediately for people with an interest in:

• hands-on experience creating content and executing campaigns for a well-loved BC brand
• 
  marketing skills across email, social media and advertising
• and other general business practices

This is a 3-month internship from June 5 to September 1 (13 weeks).


Position hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Compensation: $20/hour, bi-weekly pay


What You Will Be Doing :


You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working hands-on with the rest of our Marketing team to learn the skills you need to be successful in a marketing environment and not making coffee.

• Assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth
• 
  Monitoring and analyzing key metrics to evaluate campaign performance and identifying opportunities for optimization
• 
  Assisting with affiliate & influencer campaigns, including partner recruiting, copywriting and campaign execution.
• 
  Conducting keyword research and assisting with SEO strategy implementation
• 
  Assisting with creating and managing content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
• 
  Monitoring and reporting on social media engagement metrics and recommending strategies to improve performance. Maintaining a content calendar and ensuring timely and consistent posting
• Supporting the marketing team in other ad-hoc projects as needed

Who You Are:

In this entry-level role, you will work with a team of talented individuals to build brand awareness and signups for Western Canada\xe2\x80\x99s most loved meal kit delivery service. This position will create content and execute campaigns across social media, email, web and paid channels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, analytical and possess excellent communication skills. This role is perfect for a creative self starter looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing and social media in a fast-paced start-up environment.


Qualifications/Skills:

• 
  High School Diploma
• 
  Current enrolment in a marketing, ecommerce, communications, journalism or related field degree program is considered an asset.
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 
  Experience with social media platforms and content creation, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Understanding of basic social media metrics.
• 
  Experience with digital marketing, including email and organic/paid channels.
• 
  Analytical with some Google Analytics, Excel, and other data analysis tool experience
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• 
  Excellent time management and organizational skills
• 
  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
