What you'll do:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creating Marketing Student Intern to join our Marketing Team in NOrth Battleford. This temporary internship offers flexible hours that can be scheduled around your post-secondary academic commitments, providing the opportunity to apply your classroom learning to real-world marketing and communications projects. As part of our team, you'll support marketing initiatives that promote our brand, community presence, and member engagement. You will assist in coordinating advertising, events, promotions, and communications efforts across our various retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the plan and execution of marketing campaigns, community events, and in-store promotions.
Help coordinate advertising materials, social media content, and digital communications that reflect Discovery Co-op's band and values.
Capture and create engaging photos and content to highlight Co-op events, team member features, and community involvement.
Support the development and distribution of promotion materials, signage, and internal communications.
Participate in community events and functions (including weekends) to support the Marketing Team and represent Discovery Co-op.
Tack campaign and event outcomes, assist with reporting, and contribute creative ideas to enhance future activities.
Perform general administration and coordination tasks in support of the Marketing Team.
To be familiar with and adhere to Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures. To actively participate in all department initiatives, projects, and assignments while demonstrating an eagerness to learn across various Marketing functions. Support a positive work environment through professionalism, confidentiality, and team work. To live the Co-op brand every day and perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
Currently enrolled in an accredited Post Secondary Business or Commerce program, with a preference for Marketing, Communications, or related concentration for the 2025-2026 term.
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's license and access to reliable personal transportation to travel to and from events.
Desire a flexible working schedule around your classes and have daytime/evening/weekend availability to assist with organization events in our local community.
Past experience in marketing, events, content creation, or customer-facing roles is considered an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Canva, ADOBE, Creative Suite, or Social Medial Management Tools is preferred.
Detail-oriented with a creative flair.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
