Role Description

This part-time role for a Marketing Intern is a hybrid position located in Mississauga, ON. The Marketing Intern will assist in day-to-day tasks such as conducting market research, assisting with sales activities, developing and executing marketing strategies, and manage our website, social media, and related platforms, and responsible for creating and posting timely, accurate, and engaging content that reflects our brand and practice areas.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Plan, draft, edit, and publish up-to-date content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profile. Build and manage a simple content calendar; schedule posts and monitor engagement. Capture and repurpose firm updates (events, announcements, hiring, community work) into short articles, posts, and visuals. Create basic graphics and short-form video clips for social (e.g., reels/stories). Optimize posts/pages for search (on-page SEO basics: titles, meta, headings, alt text). Track performance with platform insights/Google Analytics and summarize results with clear, actionable takeaways. Ensure content complies with professional standards and protects client confidentiality. Coordinate with lawyers/staff to fact-check and keep practice area content current. Support other marketing tasks as needed (email drafts, brochures, office signage, etc.).

Qualifications

Post-secondary student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field. Strong Communication skills Experience in Market Research Sales skills and experience Strong writing and editing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook; Google Business Profile a plus) Knowledge in Marketing Strategy Customer Service skills Video basics (smartphone capture, trimming, captions). Sound time-management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills. Nice to have: experience in professional services/legal industry; understanding of confidentiality and compliance expectations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
