Westwood is seeking a creative, highly organized, independent, and motivated professional to join our team as a Marketing Generalist. This is a full-time on-site role in Kelowna, BC. The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with sales, event planning, writing, project management, and communication. Key Accountabilities

• Recommend and help drive the implementation of marketing initiatives based on Westwood brand and values
• Create engaging and visually appealing graphics for digital and print advertisements
• Collaborate with the outsourced marketing team to design and optimize landing pages and websites
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools
• Work with the design team to facilitate marketing opportunities and exposure
• Manage online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and social media ads
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and advertising
• Create, maintain, and strengthen the organization\'s overall brand through all media avenues
• Work with an external marketing agency to produce high-quality output
• Collaborate with partner businesses, interior designers, and builders to create joint marketing initiatives that promote our products and services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, industry professionals, complementary businesses, and relevant communities

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Sales and Marketing
• Clear communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with modern social media marketing
• Ability to plan events and manage small projects seamlessly
• Competence in using Adobe Creative Suite or other design software
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related achievements
• Experience in the cabinetry or building and design industry is a plus
