Your day to day

This role can be based fully remote, with travel to the main UK&I cities/hotels as required.

This role sits within our UK&I Managed Estate Central Marketing team.

Reporting to the Food & Drink Marketing Manager you will support the Commercial Performance of our UK&I Managed Estate through executing required marketing activities, as per our Food & Beverage (F&B) marketing plans and changing business needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

Digital

  • Updating of content (copy / images) for F&B pages on both independent and hotel independent websites, ensuring content is on brand and optimised for SEO
  • Collaborate with in-house team and/or agencies to deliver paid social media campaigns that deliver ROI for outlets
  • Work with outlets to create and update SK Chase voucher pages with offers
  • Monitor Google Analytics for F&B independent websites and work with manager on strategies for improving website traffic and engagement
Social Media & PR
  • Work with outlets to ensure an agreed social content calendar is in place. Develop on-brand content for social channels and deploy within Sprout Social with correct analytics and tagging in place to allow for reporting.
  • Creation of graphics for social media campaigns using Adobe Photoshop
  • Work alongside the brand management teams to gain a solid understanding of brand guidelines relating to visual identity, tone of voice and standards, and ensure to apply this across all assets.
  • Community management of social channels - monitoring, engage and replying to comments. Liaise with the relevant outlet champion where needed to give the guest an appropriate answer.
  • Work with line manager on social media advertising campaigns - targeting audiences by segment
  • Support line manager to deliver against social KPIs to ensure outlets are engaging with audiences
  • Support PR planning and execution
Email Marketing
  • Assist outlets with their data capture initiatives to help grow their database
  • Assist with copy writing and putting together campaigns where required
Collateral and Assets
  • Creation or updating of design files - menus, brochures, flyers etc. using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, following brand guidelines
  • Work alongside the brand management teams to gain a solid understanding of brand guidelines relating to visual identity, tone of voice and standards for hotels, and ensure to apply this across all assets and collateral work seeking appropriate approvals where necessary
  • Project manage the delivery of assets/content, ensuring relevant parties are aware of timelines, costs etc.
  • Arrange costing for the printing material and obtain the appropriate approval before printing
What we need from you

We're looking for someone who is either experienced in or interested in food and drink marketing and bring to life our restaurants and bars to guests!
  • You will have strong organisation skills and experience of managing multiple projects at once
  • Curious and eager to learn, follow and introduce new trends, tools, and ways of working
  • A collaborative, supportive team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an eye for detail is essential
  • Comfortable contributing to team meetings, ensuring knowledge and information is shared effectively; working with our Marketing Analyst to support and outline improvement
  • Strong stakeholder management skills as you establish close working collaborative relationships with the F&B partners (hotel based and IHG team) and our Marketing Analyst
Experience/Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience working in a marketing role - hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong, creative copy writing skills is essential
  • Social media marketing experience is essential. Including but not limited to: Facebook and Instagram, copywriting, experience creating reels and gifs, paid advertising etc.
  • Technical competence in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop in particular) is preferred
  • WordPress (or similar CMS) experience is preferred
  • Mailchimp (or similar CRM system) experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of PPC and SEO is preferred but not essential
