THE POSITION

We are looking for a talented Marketing and Events Lead for a maternity leave contract (with the potential for permanent placement) in our Vancouver office.

The Marketing and Events Lead is responsible for content coordination, writing, graphics coordination, formatting and on-time delivery of proposal submissions. For events the position is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating onsite management of client events and conferences. The candidate will ensure all proposals and marketing are in alignment with Integral\xe2\x80\x99s brand standards and strategy. In addition, the Marketing and Events Lead would maintain and manage all proposal and marketing databases and track proposal opportunities and prepare reports from them.

In addition, the Marketing and Events Lead would maintain relevant proposal and marketing materials and provide assistance for regional Marketing/BD events. They would also provide proposal & marketing support to other members of the Marketing and Proposals Team as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\xe2\x80\x8b

  • Lead on all client events which includes coordinating smaller events with team leads or larger in-house events
  • Visit and select appropriate conference venues
  • Review contracts and coordinate event logistics including hotel accommodations, food and beverage service, meeting room setup, etc.
  • Managing logistics, operations, schedules, and production coordination
  • Take responsibility for content coordination, writing, graphics coordination, formatting and on-time delivery of proposal submissions
  • Maintain and manage all proposal and marketing databases and track proposal opportunities and prepare reports from them
  • Write and edit marketing content including news items, social media posts, project descriptions, etc.
  • Maintain relevant proposal and marketing materials and provide assistance for regional Marketing/BD events
  • Ensure the consistent implementation of corporate brand standards both internally and externally across media platforms
  • Coordinate, manage and execute regional client events including sponsorships, seminars/workshop series, receptions, conferences
  • Online marketing support including social media, website and internal intranet.
  • Create and maintain MS PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain key practice/sector marketing materials (i.e. resumes, project sheets, standard SOQs, brochures, website, and social media channels)
  • Provide proposal & marketing support to other members of the Marketing and Proposals Team as required
  • Coordinate between Californian, North American and International offices to maintain processes and standards according to the brand guidelines
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years bid writing/coordinating experience
  • 3+ years event planning/coordination experience
  • Essential experience within the Construction sector, ideally the Architects/Engineers/Consultants (AEC) Sector.
  • Experience in bidding to national/local government and understand the strict RFP/EOI\xe2\x80\x99s process.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows Explorer
  • Intermediate graphic design skills - proficiency in the use of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices
  • Ability to build professional and amenable relationships with colleagues from diverse business disciplines at all levels.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills.
  • Detail oriented and organization skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices
  • Able to work effectively within a group with \'team spirit\' as well as independently motivated with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to assume responsibility and provide input on how to improve processes
  • Ongoing training may involve professional development courses
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management system and intranet
