We're a fast-growing manufacturer of premium, specialized crop-processing equipment, and we're seeking a strategic and self-reliant Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and amplify our brand in a high-growth market. Based in the Ottawa, Ontario area, this role involves developing and executing marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on lead generation, equipment sales support, and highlighting our in-house manufacturing strengths-- including on-shored production in North America, best-in-class stainless steel equipment fabrication, and our purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Working with a highly engaged senior management team, you'll focus on operational execution, taking initiative to drive results without needing oversight. Responsibilities



Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive lead generation, conversion, and equipment sales across B2B and B2C channels, with a focus on showcasing in-house manufacturing, North American on-shoring, stainless steel quality, and our state-of-the-art facility. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing hands-on guidance to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with sales, executive teams, and other stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals, supporting sales efforts through targeted materials and tools that emphasize product features, competitive advantages, and manufacturing excellence. Create lead generation campaigns that attract prospects and boost conversion rates, working closely with sales to optimize funnel performance. Identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation, driving marketing initiatives that highlight our unique in-house capabilities and facility. Establish and monitor performance metrics, reporting on campaign efficacy, market trends, and areas for improvement to inform data-driven decisions. Manage the marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI on initiatives. Foster a culture of self-reliance and continuous improvement through team training and development.

Experience & Qualifications



Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience with a proven track record in lead generation, conversion, and sales support, preferably in B2B or B2C environments involving high-value equipment or manufacturing. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring teams in a results-oriented setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively and engage stakeholders. Proficient in data analysis, trend interpretation, and optimizing strategies for impact. Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative marketing approaches and technologies. Enthusiasm for promoting in-house manufacturing, quality craftsmanship, and state-of-the-art facilities to build brand differentiation. Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills; able to operate independently and remove burdens from senior management. Commitment to hard work, common-sense values, and a merit-based approach--aligning with our core principles of accountability, grit, ingenuity, initiative, and respect. Ability to travel up to one week per month; valid passport required.
