About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Director to join our team. The Marketing Director is responsible for the development, integration and alignment of the marketing initiatives as they relate to the category business strategies and organizational objectives. The successful candidate will be a balance between a commercially driven business professional and a consumer-focused marketing leader with a track record of success in delivering profitable growth and effectively leading a team of high-performing Marketing and cross-functional professionals. Ultimately, this role will be a key part of driving our commercial growth agenda and will play a critical role in helping the business achieve its ambitious branded growth objectives. What You Will Do:
Develop and execute a roadmap for innovation that aligns with the company\'s strategic goals and objectives
Lead the annual innovation planning process ensuring innovation goals are realized and the long-term pipeline is robust
Lead and manage a team of innovation professionals, including setting goals, providing guidance and support, and evaluating performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and bring new products and processes to market
Support the design and execution of innovation experiments in the market for viability and ultimately scale-up execution
Support development of the selling story, in close collaboration with our sales organization to support customer sell-in across all channels
Partner with Consumer Insights to develop customized consumer research plans to validate and de-risk assumptions
Partner with the team to launch these new platforms through Snaplii and into market, and leading in-market performance for an introductory term
Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
Externally focused, engaging with potential external partners, VCs and startups
Evaluate new technologies and trends that have the potential to drive business growth and competitive advantage via innovation
Manages and mentors manager or associate-level individuals to assist them with projects and further develop them
Who You Are:
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or equivalent degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in marketing, innovation, or related fields, including leading teams and executing innovation strategies
A track record of delivering successful product innovations, and leading change, in a consumer-focused CPG environment
Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and industry best practices. Ability to develop and execute long-term innovation strategies that drive business growth
Track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, coaching, and developing team members, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against aggressive timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners
Passion for innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong desire to make an impact. Curious, creative, and constantly exploring new ideas and approaches to drive growth and transformational change
