Marketing Director

Job Description


The Marketing Director is in charge of leading the company\'s sales and marketing initiatives as well as building and managing a team to implement marketing plans. From branding to direct marketing and strategic paid advertising campaigns, the Marketing Director will be in charge of identifying and implementing the best plans to grow the company and will report back to the leadership team on the overall marketing and sales performance from their efforts.
Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop our marketing strategy and marketing plan
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts both paid and organic
  • Communicating the marketing plan with team
  • Develop promotional plans
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales funnels to drive sales growth
  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy and assisting with content marketing strategy
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement budgets based on the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives
  • Oversee a company\xe2\x80\x99s overall advertising and sales strategy
  • Drive revenue by increasing sales through marketing activities
  • Develop the structure of the business\xe2\x80\x99s marketing department
  • Negotiate advertising contacts and other vendor relationships specific to your department
  • Approve marketing campaign ideas
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial and branding goals

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of programmatic ad tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
