MARKETING & DESIGN SPECIALIST, MINDFULICITY (TERM POSITION \xe2\x80\x93 0.8 FTE) YW Calgary works to provide preventative and restorative services to women and their families to help them thrive.

mental health, supporting those experiencing domestic violence and enabling women\xe2\x80\x99s economic prosperity. Mindfulicity is a rapidly growing social enterprise that takes the depth of experience and proven outcomes from
YW Calgary\xe2\x80\x99s leading work in mental health and conflict resolution to build capacity for psychological safety in
organizations. Reporting to the Manager, Mindfulicity, the Marketing & Design Specialist is passionate about
improving mental health, and has a flair for social media, marketing, design, and technology.

You have a proven knack for promoting and generating buzz for brands and for creating unique, compelling
content. You are comfortable in the digital and analog world and are customer focused. You are a go-getter and a
self-starter who is excited to join a social enterprise in its early stages, and eager to work hard to become a key
contributor to YW\xe2\x80\x99s social enterprise success

This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of extension. 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) This is a hybrid work

Manage the e-commerce site and client interactions
Create content and make regular website updates for the Mindfulicity site. Maximize web traffic, measure, analyze, track results, and adapt accordingly
Develop content for all Mindfulicity social media platforms and monitor the performance of Mindfulicity\xe2\x80\x99s digital content on social media channels
Write blogs and other client facing content
Manage and regularly update Mindfulicity content on YW Calgary\xe2\x80\x99s intranet
Analyze performance of channels and campaigns and strategize to improve metrics
Participate in ongoing opportunities for professional development
You love being creative and providing interesting and engaging content
Meeting engagement targets, building audience and trying new strategies to find what works WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BRING Degree in Marketing or Communications
A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications
Experience and knowledge of all social media channels, leading trends and best practices
Experience with E-commerce management, Web design and website management
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
High level of proficiency with design such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and/or Illustrator
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills
Highly organized and exceptional attention to details
Experience in a startup environment is considered an asset
Demonstrated passion for the work of YW Calgary
A clear Police Information Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, and an Intervention Record Check is required upon commencement of employment.
