Job Overview:

As a Marketing Data Analyst at Valley Fiber, you will play a key role in unlocking the value of our customer and campaign data to drive smarter marketing decisions. You'll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketing performance data across multiple channels, enabling the Marketing team to optimize targeting, increase customer engagement, and improve retention and revenue outcomes. This position requires a curious and detail-oriented mindset, a strong grasp of analytics tools, and a passion for translating data into actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

o Analyze marketing campaigns and customer behavior to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for improvement.

o Create dashboards and automated reports for key stakeholders, providing timely insights on campaign ROI, segmentation effectiveness, churn risk, and upsell opportunities.


Segmentation & Targeting:

o Support audience segmentation strategies to ensure campaigns are reaching the right customers with the right message at the right time.

o Collaborate with CRM, Product, and Sales teams to define and extract customer lists for targeted initiatives.


Customer Insights:

o Use data to uncover insights into customer behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stages.

o Translate findings into clear recommendations that support product offers, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.


Test & Learn Programs:

o Design and track A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of offers, creative, and channel performance.

o Provide pre- and post-campaign analysis, measuring impact and making optimization suggestions.


Marketing Attribution & ROI:

o Develop attribution models to understand how marketing touchpoints contribute to conversions and revenue.

o Partner with finance and leadership to quantify marketing impact and guide investment decisions.


Tool & Data Stewardship:

o Work with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.

o Recommend enhancements to analytics tools, data pipelines, and CRM systems.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a marketing or business analyst role, preferably within telecom, subscription-based services, or high-growth industries. Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Scorecard). Proficiency with data from CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Brevo). Solid understanding of campaign performance metrics, customer segmentation, and retention KPIs. Ability to present complex data in a clear, visual, and compelling way to non-technical audiences.
