Century Downs Racetrack and Casino is looking for a

Customer Service Representative

to join our marketing team.

SUMMARY

Greets and welcomes Century Casino guests with a friendly and professional demeanor at every opportunity. Processes lottery and merchandise cashier transactions. Signs up Casino patrons to enroll in the Winners' Zone and Winner's Edge programs and virtually communicates the advantages of both programs. Data entry of points where required, processing members' reports, minor maintenance on kiosks, etc. Within the casino, assists with the execution of marketing promotions, maintains daily counts of inventory, and upholds the highest commitment to customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Assist patrons complete the online enrollment in the Winner's Zone and signs Casino patrons to enroll in the Winner's Edge programs and virtually communicates the advantages of both programs. Professional interaction with other departments. Accurate cash handling skills and documentation. Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and team members. Provide all aspects of customer service. Maintain a tidy and safe work area. Minor machine repairs. Works lottery ticket booth and Micros cash, effectively handles cash out procedures. Adheres to customer service policies and standards. Aids with execution for various applicable events, which may include seating, ticket taking, and merchandise selling. Helps to execute casino promotions where required. Responsible for inventory of Century assets at open and close of shift. Redeem coupons, make change. Data input for the customer tracking system, point analysis, create vouchers, sell special event tickets, greet customers, and track promotional gifts. Remain up to date on Gaming laws. Answer telephones for guest services. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE




High School diploma required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS




Must be able to pass a criminal background check, complete the online Lotto Learn certification and Winners' Edge course.

LANGUAGE SKILLS




Ability to read and interpret all types of documents in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS




Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic problem-solving skills.

REASONING ABILITY




Ability to apply customer service knowledge and experience in day-to-day work scenarios. Ability to recognize and solve customer matters.
