Eatertainment is one of Canada's leading event and catering companies, producing high-profile events, immersive experiences, and elevated culinary moments across Toronto and the GTA. Our marketing team supports multiple brands, including Eatertainment, The Design Exchange (DX), The Pearl, and the Sebastien & Sheila lifestyle brand. We're looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator who excels in content creation, social media management, and on-site event capture. This role is fast-paced, execution-heavy, and ideal for someone passionate about food, hospitality, events, and lifestyle.

ROLE OVERVIEW:



The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for content scheduling, social media execution, minor website updates, community management, analytics tracking, and on-site event content capture across all brands. You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing and our Videographer/Editor to bring marketing campaigns to life, support creative production, and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day marketing. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys strategic planning, creating content, and staying deeply involved in the details.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:



This is an in-office role at our Toronto headquarters.

Regular on-site event attendance across Toronto is required (evenings/weekends occasionally, with notice).

COMPENSATION



Full-time salary:

$35,000-$50,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



CONTENT CREATION & SOCIAL MEDIA Build and maintain weekly social media schedules for multiple brands Upload and schedule all social content (Reels, TikToks, stories, static posts) Produce simple Reels/TikToks from existing footage Manage daily community engagement (DMs, comments, tags) Assist with content ideation and shot lists Maintain Linktree and story highlights Organize and maintain content libraries and server folders ON-SITE EVENT CONTENT CAPTURE Attend events across Toronto to capture photography and video Capture short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels and TikTok Support the videographer by capturing additional angles and social-first assets Work with chefs, event leads, and partners to capture required media Ensure consistent brand visual style at all events
PHOTO & VIDEO EDITING

Light photo editing for social media and website use Assemble simple Reel/TikTok edits using CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar Prepare content for newsletters and website galleries Support the videographer by organizing, exporting, and prepping assets
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

Update website content (menus, event pages, venue pages, new galleries) Upload images and update copy as needed Check links, buttons, and seasonal refreshes
REPORTING & ANALYTICS

Track social media growth and engagement
GENERAL MARKETING SUPPORT

Support with influencer, partner, and media coordination Help prepare marketing folders, briefs, and content packages Assist with product shipments, packaging, PR boxes, and tracking Update marketing calendars and internal task lists Provide general administrative support for the marketing team

QUALIFICATIONS:



REQUIRED: 1-2+ years of experience in a marketing, social media, or content role Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and social content best practices Experience/comfortable capturing high-quality photos and vertical video ability to edit simple Reels/TikToks confidently Strong writing and organizational skills Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Comfortable working in-office and attending events regularly BONUS SKILLS: Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) Light Adobe Suite experience (Lightroom, Premiere Rush, Photoshop) Experience in hospitality, events, lifestyle, or food content Comfortable directing or posing subjects during shoots
