Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing Team across marketing, communication, events and operational needs, with administrative support to the broader IBAO Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DIGITAL MARKETING 40%
Collaborate in all phases of website redesign including optimizing web copy to incorporate targeted keywords and semantic relevance to improve search engine rankings and AI comprehension, sourcing images and videos to ensure a cohesive online presence and documenting and organizing URLs and calls to action
Set up analytics tracking systems, collect baseline data and establish key performance indicators to compare pre- and post-launch performance, ensuring data-driven insights for continuous improvement
Contribute to the maintenance of IBAO's website including updating industry event calendars, IBAO education courses and dates, event agendas and details, and other key website information
Upload articles and ads to IBAO's digital magazine
Fulfill social media engagement strategies including platform audits, engaging with members across channels, reporting updates and trends and creating content for approval and posting
Pitch and develop editorial content for IBAO's magazine including regular columns, interviews, thought leadership, lifestyle and community content
Provide planning and administrative support to IBAO's Marketing Team including project management, analysis and reporting
Support IBAO's Marketing Team as projects and tasks arise
COMMUNICATION 30%
Contribute written content to IBAO's current and new website build including secondary platforms such as OntarioBrokers.ca
Coordinate written pieces for IBAO's digital and print magazine
Coordinate community engagement, answering and redirecting queries, acting as online brand ambassador for IBAO and Ontario Broker brands
Contribute written content for all other IBAO platforms, projects and initiatives including event promotions and general marketing collateral
EVENTS 20%
Assist with pre and post event planning and support for IBAO events including:
Sourcing meeting venues and services (e.g., venue availability, layout, AV support, accommodations, swag, promotional items, event collateral)
Attendee management (e.g., fielding calls and emails from attendees about meeting details, travel, registration, changes to registration)
Assist onsite at IBAO events and job fairs including setup, tear down, fulfilling last minute requests, coordinating with attendees and venue contacts, room drops, welcome bags
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION 10%
Monitor and oversee Reception, Marketing and Advertising inboxes, forwarding inquiries to appropriate staff and replying to general inquiries
Track and record incoming cheques and cheque status
Coordinate office shipping and mailings
