We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Steinbach or Lagimodiere branch. As a member of the Marketing Team, the Marketing Coordinator supports marketing in the execution of internal and external marketing plans by providing administrative and project management support, facilitating sponsorship and event activities and maintaining records and budgets.
Specific Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development, execution and support of various employee and member-focused communication, projects and campaigns
Assist in the development, production and distribution of member communication such as sales tools, brochures, newsletters and direct mail
Coordinate and evaluate requests for sponsorship, ensuring all sponsorship activities are aligned with the SCU brand and effectively position SCU within the community
Support the planning and management of meetings, tradeshows and events
Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels
Manage print production and distribution of printed promotional material
Accurately maintain and track records related to budgets, invoices, trademarks and creative archives
Manage and maintain brochure inventory ensuring adequate stock in branches and on hand, replenishing supplies as needed
Ensure all materials and messages effectively position the benefits of SCU products and services while remaining aligned with the SCU brand
Support the marketing team in the development and management of tracking systems, timelines and scheduling for various marketing projects and campaigns
Manage marketing team resources, timelines and workflow through administration of the marketing timeline and team huddle
Manage advertising and production partner relationships
Maintain up to date knowledge of SCU\xe2\x80\x99s products and services
Support marketing operations by scheduling meetings, setting agendas, providing meeting minutes and action items, and scheduling department activities
Action or triage requests made to the general marketing email
Triage marketing leads to the appropriate departments
Maintain open communication and cooperation with other employees to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment between the marketing department and other areas of the credit union
Qualifications:
Post secondary degree or diploma in Creative Communications, Design, Business Administration or Marketing will be considered an asset
2 to 4 years of related work experience
Software proficiency, including MS Office Professional (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
