We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a creative and compelling communicator to join our team. In this role, you can help shape a leading North American financial services brand, coordinating creative and media campaigns that connect audiences with our brand, our people, and our services. As part of the North America Brand Advertising team supporting all lines of business, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the opportunity to work on advertising projects ranging from sponsorships to everyday banking to social impact across the US portfolio. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help figure out compelling reasons for customers to bank with us, translate those insights into unique messages and help craft an advertising campaign that convincingly demonstrates the difference banking with BMO can make. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Support creative brief research, agency briefings/direction, and coordinate feedback for US Brand Advertising campaigns.
  • Support creative brief development, and coordinate agency briefings, creative feedback, and execution of Sponsorship Advertising campaigns, on various properties in the US.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships throughout the organization to foster collaboration and partnerships.
  • Facilitate input from line of business marketers, and support Senior marketing manager in ensuring creative/assignment briefing documents include all required components.
  • Support regional marketing requests, and support Senior marketing manager development, production and distribution of non-advertising activities, including internal communications and special projects, as requested.
  • Attend status meetings and report progress to internal stakeholders. Coordinate flow of all components and processes.
  • Track and monitor budget expenditures and required metrics to determine impact of advertising efforts.
  • Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards as necessary to help the team understand the impacts of our work.
  • Coordinates processes for translation and regulatory approval of materials as required, under direction of the Senior Manager
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have/be to be successful:
  • 1-3 years experience in supporting marketing campaigns, or relevant project management experience.
  • Strong written, and oral communication skills - in person, in PowerPoint, and in narrative format
  • Demonstrated ability to produce during times of intense pressure; ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with the ability to merge varying points-of-view and build partnerships to get things done.
  • Ability to maintain critical paths, adhering to tight timelines
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated with a bias toward action; able to turn an idea from concept into a clear plan of action.
  • Results-driven: Adept at gathering and analyzing data to gain insight into what works and develop recommendations to optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Excellent creative sensibilities: Well-developed ability to evaluate whether creative meets strategic objectives and brand standards.
  • Passionate about marketing and advertising, including new trends and technologies.
  • Flexibility for limited travel: while this role will be based out of our Toronto office, there may be opportunities for travel to support various projects and initiatives.
