We are seeking a talented, energetic and results-oriented professional to take on an entry level role as Marketing Coordinator for a 12 month temporary contract.

Position:




The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing a wide range of business communications and marketing tasks, efforts that are essential to shaping Rapid Novor's brand and driving growth as we continue to lead in next-generation antibody sequencing and discovery services. This role helps manage channels that often serve as a customer's first interaction with the company, making the successful candidate a vital steward of our brand identity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and articulate communicator who thrives on building connections across multiple platforms and is eager to explore emerging tools and technologies to engage our audiences. Responsibilities include:




Coordinating and executing a broad range of digital marketing activities, drawing on the support of colleagues and AI tools as needed:

Email marketing

- using provided rough materials/messaging, create marketing emails and filter the email distribution list in CRM, schedule the delivery, and monitor success.

Event support

- printing brochures, ensuring trade show materials are stocked and sent.

Webinar support -

create website landing pages and promotional materials on social media, ensure technology is set up, schedule preparation and practice sessions, assist with slides formatting.

Content writing support

- request content contributions from colleagues, help them draft articles, manage the review process, posting finished articles on the website.

Graphics and media

- create basic imagery (e.g., digital ad banners animations, social media imagery, event banners).

SEO -

review/edit articles from an SEO perspective, update website articles and links as needed.

Social media support

- create informative and engaging social media posts based on company events, new articles, industry news/publications. Coordinate posts from colleagues. Engage with the community. Report on success.

Campaign management

- will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate projects across teams, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are met. This includes facilitating effective collaboration among teammates, tracking progress against deadlines, and ensuring timely communication and integration of feedback throughout the execution process.

Required Skills/Experience:

Post-secondary degree (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field). Prior experience with marketing. Strong organizational skills, as demonstrated by prior experience. Excellent writing skills = able to translate scientific/technical language into relatable and digestible content in a succinct manner. Extremely tenacious, result-oriented, self-starter, with a positive attitude and desire to succeed. Prior experience managing/maintaining a WordPress website (coding experience not required). Basic skills on image manipulation in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar. Skilled with social media content creation tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary environment.

Assets:

Science background or knowledge of the related industries (CRO, biotech, pharmaceutical). Previous experience in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment. Experience with Hubspot, Zoom webinars, Slack, G-Suite, SEM rush, Canva, Adobe Illustrator. Experience with frequent posting on social media. Basic skills marketing metrics and data analysis. Basic skills in Excel or spreadsheets for marketing purposes.
