Job Description

Sotheby's International Realty Canada is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Marketing Coordinator with a friendly and client-service oriented personality to support our agents and brokers our offices in the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario Region.

This is a 16 month+ full-time contract position that offers a real opportunity to transition into a permanent position on our growing team.



The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing coordination and customer service, and the ability to deliver quality work while juggling many clients and deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Real estate brokerage experience is an asset, but not essential if you have a genuine interest in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Marketing Account Services



Provide white-glove service to our team of exceptional real estate agents and brokers across our six offices in GTA West and Southwestern Ontario Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external peers to ensure success of different marketing campaigns Organize and streamline service offerings to our agents and brokers

Project Management



You will directly support the Regional Marketing Manager, Eastern Canada and the Regional Marketing Director, Eastern Canada with proactive calendar and email management, and managing internal communication systems and day-to-day requests Collaborate with our creative, brand and marketing technology teams by assisting with building project timelines, support on strategic marketing initiatives, maintaining schedules with production stakeholders, coordinating and collating content Research trends and new marketing opportunities, and brainstorm/share ideas with the Regional Marketing Manager, Eastern Canada Support the tracking and reporting of campaign progress and campaign performance

Marketing Collateral (Digital & Print)



Provide support to the marketing team including promotional material and collateral orders, maintaining marketing and brand assets Collect, organize and make quality control edits to all source materials, including photos and videos Ensure accuracy of all files, proofs, and submissions, including spell-checking and proofreading, or running user testing on digital file Manage pre- and post-production, ensuring high-quality printing/production and timely delivery of all marketing materials

Brand Champion



With the support of the Director of Marketing Services, stay up-to-date and ensure that local agents and brokers are up to date on global and national brand marketing and technology tools and resources, as well as brand standards Communicate and reinforce brand requirements to agents while maintaining the highest level of client service Maintain and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all media avenues, as well as agent and client experience Support the delivery of national and international marketing, technology, digital, social media and public relations initiatives, as required

Sales Support and Training



Provide professional, friendly and deadline-conscious support to agents With the support of the Regional Managing Brokers and Director of Marketing Services, host agent training, workshops, and orientation sessions on topics such as email marketing, marketing tools and technology, social media, and more Provide agents with timely answers to questions on corporate marketing initiatives and brand standards

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE



You are a dedicated and empathetic team player who communicates with professionalism, adapts readily to different situations and people, and are genuinely invested in the people/team you work with. You offer:

Minimum 2-3 years experience in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment, preferably in an agency, real estate brokerage, hospitality, or professional services environment Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business administration or related field Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, critical thinking and problem-solving Ability to manage multiple clients and projects, competing priorities, objectives and tight deadlines Solid organizational skills and highly detail oriented A passion for client service, and the ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically, even in challenging situations Creative mind with excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with both Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MacOS (Keynote) Competency in Adobe InDesign (basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus) Experience in using email marketing systems (HubSpot, MailChimp, etc.) and templated marketing tools (Canva, Adobe Express, Marq, etc.) Fluency in social media marketing, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Proficient using Project Management software (Asana, Trello, etc.) Overall tech-savviness with the ability to learn, use and train others on marketing technology quickly Desire to contribute to a small office environment, which requires being proactive and willing to roll up sleeves and "get things done" Experience and ability in delivering small group presentations

COMPENSATION



Sotheby's International Realty Canada offers a competitive compensation plan, including extended health/dental plan.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., transitioning to a hybrid schedule after one month of training.
