Dominion City Brewing Co. is looking for a Marketing Co-ordinator to help plan, organize, and steward how our brands show up across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating storytelling, keeping systems up to date, and ensuring customers experience our brands clearly and consistently -- whether through social media, email, our website, or our mobile app.
You'll support both Dominion City and City Seltzer, helping manage content calendars, maintain digital touchpoints, coordinate advertising efforts, and engage directly with our community online. While some light content creation is part of the role, this position is primarily about organization, consistency, and execution rather than high-production media creation.
Accountability
The Content Coordinator is accountable for planning, coordinating, and administering content and digital communications across multiple platforms. This includes stewardship of our mobile app, coordination of digital advertising, and day-to-day customer interactions on social channels, all in support of brand awareness, engagement, and marketing goals.
Objectives & Responsibilities
Plan and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned with Dominion City and City Seltzer's goals, campaigns, and brand identities
Coordinate brand storytelling across platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, timing, and messaging
Maintain and update the Dominion City mobile app (Tapcart), including content updates, notifications, and promotions
Develop and manage a centralized catalogue of content supporting marketing and customer service strategies
Coordinate and support digital advertising initiatives, particularly through Meta Ads, including creative organization, scheduling, and basic performance tracking
Support email and SMS communications using Klaviyo, including content coordination and campaign setup
Manage and respond to customer interactions across social platforms in a timely, thoughtful, and on-brand manner
Work cross-functionally to identify stories, campaigns, events, and moments to highlight across channels
Create and publish written content and light visual assets using tools like Canva for websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns
Capture and edit simple, candid video content (e.g. iPhone footage edited in CapCut) when appropriate
Maintain and update content within Shopify, ensuring accuracy and alignment across digital touchpoints
Optimize content for SEO and platform best practices
Monitor content and campaign performance to inform planning and prioritization
Qualifications
Background in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
1+ years of experience in a content, communications, or marketing coordination role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable engaging with customers and representing the brand across social platforms
Proven ability to collaborate across departments and maintain alignment on shared goals
Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Ads, Klaviyo, Tapcart, Shopify, and Canva (hands-on experience is an asset, not a requirement across all tools)
Comfortable capturing and editing simple social content using a smartphone and tools like CapCut
Not required: professional photography, advanced video production, or high-end editing skills
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to audience preferences and brand tone
Self-motivated, proactive, and effective working independently or as part of a team
