Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, web content, paid advertising, and more.
Manage and schedule content calendars across various platforms, ensuring messaging is consistent, timely, and engaging.
Draft written content for social media, press releases, newsletters, website updates, and community announcements.
Coordinate with internal departments (sales and sponsorship) to align marketing deliverables with broader business goals.
Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms.
Support public relations initiatives and community engagement efforts, including partnerships, media outreach, and promotional events.
Help maintain and update websites using platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Shopify.
Stay up to date on digital trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal--with a strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn) and content scheduling tools.
Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and basic web content management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
Graphic design, video editing, or photography skills are considered a strong asset.
