We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our Calgary office location. The largest city in Alberta, Calgary, is known for its rich culture, amazing food scene and Rocky Mountains which provide ideal spots for skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor recreation. Summary of Responsibilities:




The Marketing Coordinator is a high-visibility, project-focused role responsible for coordinating internal and external marketing and communications functions across all Midwest offices. This role will be responsible for performing or delegating the following duties:


External Marketing




Participate in the planning of advertising, public relations opportunities, and annual marketing budgets. Develop, coordinate, and implement corporate branding standards (i.e. letterhead, brochures, logo, advertising, etc.). Coordinate the development of company website and maintain content, in collaboration with contributing internal departments and service providers. Administer and facilitate the development of digital and print ads, product specific literature, and customer targeted presentations. Work with internal departments to develop promotional materials with an understanding of the needs of the audience and the potential market. Coordinate and identify industry advertisement opportunities with various print and digital media sources. Coordinate corporate sponsored events. Register and coordinate participants and materials for promotional and corporate networking events. Order and track client admission tickets for various sporting/community events. Manage, organize, and track promotional item inventory, selection, and purchase. Verify and track charitable donations and corporate sponsorships. Manage and create content for company social media platforms Occasional participation in after-hours corporate events and trade shows.

Internal Marketing




Design, update, and manage assigned content on the company website. Coordinate corporate product orders for other office locations and departments, as requested. Coordinate, design, publish, and distribute annual company calendar. Collect, authorize, and produce company photos for promotional purposes.

Reporting




Support the department in compiling market research and analysis. Compile and distribute information for bi-weekly Client Relations and Marketing Meeting.

General Administration



Provide administrative support in completion of Request For Quotes (RFQs) and job proposals, including collection of supporting documentation and detail which may be required from other office locations and departments. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager Follow all Midwest Surveys health and safety protocols.

What you offer:




The successful candidate will bring a combination of education and experience, ideally including:


College Diploma or University Degree in Business or related courses. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Possesses two years marketing experience.Advanced computer skills including MS Office suite (i.e. Word, Excel PowerPoint and Access). Strong design skills using Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress. Experience with social media platforms Experience planning corporate events
