The Marketing Coordinator will support all companies in the Bryton Marine Group. This position will be a 12-month term with a potential full-time role upon completion of the term. This role will be based out of the KingFisher Boats office in Vernon, British Columbia.


Activities You\xe2\x80\x99ll Get To Do:
  • Marketing Support
  • Undertake individual tasks of the marketing plan.
  • Fulfill brand awareness and marketing related collateral as per direction.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Manage branded image wear and marketing/sales supplies.
  • Manage the dealer and co-op program with engine companies.
  • Manage dealer binders and boat packages.
  • Social Media
  • Assist with community and social media strategies, across multiple social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Website) with objectives to grow audience base as well as engagement.
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns (MailChimp), as well as opt-ins and other digital collateral.
  • Create promotional and content schedules that integrate into our social media strategies.
  • Source and create various social media and blog content and coordinate production (photography, creative collateral and copywriting).
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots, manage photo and video directory.
  • Manage contests, giveaways, and other marketing campaigns.
  • \xe2\x80\xaaMonitor and report on website leads.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Web, Graphic and Visual Design Support
  • Provide graphic design and visual communication support for the development and execution of various marketing communications projects including, but not limited to, print, display, newspaper ads, magazine ads, point-of-purchase and posters.
  • Produce designs for emails and e-newsletters.
  • Assist in refreshing design content with new information from appropriate model lines and redesigns as required.
  • Event Planning
  • Assist in coordinating and attending boat shows as required and other events such as dealer meeting and exhibitions to ensure the effective launch of events.
  • Public Relations
  • Assist in the development and execution of KingFisher\xe2\x80\x99s PR strategy by closely collaborating with the Director of Sales & Marketing.



Qualifications:
  • Completion of a College/University program in Marketing or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Previous Marine or manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Web, Graphic and Visual Design experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience managing multiple social media platforms.

  • Competitive salary based on experience:
  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 / year.

  • Office work environment with frequent periods of working at desk using computer.

  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed.
  • Travel and overtime may be required.
  • Ability to travel to the United States.



Schedule/Shifts
Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week \xe2\x80\x93daily schedule may be flexible.
