The Opportunity:

You will be part of a dynamic team working on exciting business development opportunities. This position will give you experience working for a leader in global engineering and allow you to apply your knowledge to real-life situations. WSP is currently seeking a Marketing Co-op /Summer Student to join our team in Calgary, AB from May-August 2023. Reporting to the Manager, Proposals, this position will be responsible for supporting the proposals and sales marketing team.

A day in the life:

Proposals

• You will provide valuable support in proposal administration
• You gain experience and have opportunities to provide input when you assist with proposal development
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure that the appropriate background research and analysis is completed in consultation with your teammates in order to provide a well thought out response to opportunities;

Marketing

• You will assist in the delivery of sales and marketing information for WSP
• You\'ll be using your expertise to support in creating content for marketing for proposals
• Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations

What you\'ll bring to WSP ...

• Entering the third or final year of a Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration degree program with a focus on Marketing
• Previous co-op or summer work experience in the engineering or construction industry an asset
• Passionate to learn and gain experience in this dynamic industry. Pro-active solutions driven mentality, who questions and positively disrupts the norms
• Proven ability adapting to changing priorities
• Strong time management and planning skills
• Succinct communicator in daily interactions and in written correspondence
• You know your way around the MS Office suite of products;
• You want to experience what it\xe2\x80\x99s like to work for the engineering consulting firm globally and be part of a growing and thriving team
