You will be a Marketing Content Editor & Developer, reporting to the Business Development Manager, with a dotted line to the SEO Lead, and will be responsible for editing and proofreading content that is both internal and client-facing. This will be in the form of SEO articles, blogs, emailers, copy content, social media posts, YouTube scripts, presentations, and any other ad-hoc editing that is required. We are looking for someone tenacious, who understands the mechanics of editing, grammar, and correcting tone, style, and content. This role requires working hands-on with our team, brainstorming topics, and integrating into our core team, who deliver content for three of our company brands.

We are keen to hear from you if you excel in short-form, and developmental editing, and thrive in a fast-paced, forward-focused environment. Responsibilities:

• Edit, proofread and adapt content to the company style, tone, and brand voice
• Provide professional editing and developmental advice to the team creating content to ensure the company is always ahead of the curve and perfectly poised
• Be meticulous in editing and conscientious with timelines
• Proactive database mining
• Proficient computer skills, including customer support tools such as:
  • SEO Surfer
  • Zoom
  • Google Drive/Google Workspace

What you bring to the role:

• Proven editing experience (SEO/Sales & Marketing Copy editing preferred)
• Contactable references
• Mental agility, with a high customer-centric attitude to your work
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to communicate concisely
• Enthusiasm and sincerity
• Remote/virtual work experience

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of content creation products and sectors
• Slack experience

This position is 100% remote and requires that applicants have previous experience working in a remote capacity. Candidates must have a quiet and presentable/professional workspace where they can conduct business calls without interruption. Why work with us?
