Carmanah Technologiesis looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist, who will work from our Victoria, BC office supporting our sister company, Eberle Design Inc (EDI). This position will report to Carmanah\xe2\x80\x99s Director of Marketing. The EDI Marketing Communications Specialist will focus on creating and optimizing digital and print content to maximize customer conversion and partner training. With municipalities shifting toward connected, \xe2\x80\x9csmart\xe2\x80\x9d devices (known as \xe2\x80\x9cintelligent transportation systems\xe2\x80\x9d) coupled with a renewed focus on safety, it is an exciting time to be in the industry. Additionally, EDI has recently been acquired and now belongs to a new platform of ITS companies. ABOUT YOU & THE TEAM You are a marketing superstar ready to help us take our inbound strategy to the next level! You will work alongside the Platform\xe2\x80\x99s growing team of digital marketing strategists, graphic designers, and content specialists to help lead EDI\xe2\x80\x99s launch of new products, assist in new channel development, and perform market research. You have 3+ years of experience in marketing or communications with proven relationship-building skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders. You have an aptitude for learning new software and skills, with the ability to understand a variety of topics quickly and are good at meeting tight deadlines. Most importantly, you want to work among a group of friendly, motivated professionals who enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced environment. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Create webpages, social media posts, emails, newsletters, web banners, landing pages and other digital or offline marketing collateral.
• Work with the platform marketing team\xe2\x80\x99s content writer on articles for EDI and other publications.
• Work with the platform marketing team\xe2\x80\x99s Digital Marketing Manager to generate ideas for improving conversion velocity and efficiency and execute testing across all stages of the buyer journey from traffic to nurturing flows to retargeting.
• Coordinate with the business development team to maintain or create new product assets, sales tools, and value-add programs for our partner network.
• Assist in maintaining keyword maps and implementing SEO best practices.
• Create strategic creative graphics or videos that complement our content.
• Work with our Tradeshow Coordinator on planned shows and conference activities.
• Assist with product marketing launch plans, go-to-market strategies, and market research.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years marketing experience (tech industry desirable but not required).
• Ability to juggle multiple and changing business priorities, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, WordPress (or other CMS), HubSpot (or similar).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft business applications.
• Experience with graphic programs such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient writing, editing, and formatting skills.
