DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Communications Specialist is an integral part of the marketing team at Schluter-Systems. This role blends strong writing skills with a storyteller's mindset -- shaping and developing content that connects with our audiences across multiple mediums and platforms.

Core to this role is crafting clear, compelling, and benefit-driven communications, while also developing engaging narratives that flow seamlessly through online and offline spaces, social channels, website content, print materials, video scripts, and more. The ideal candidate can translate technical product details into relatable customer stories and collaborate across teams to ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and strategic goals.

COMPETENCIES

Content Development & Storytelling - Create and evolve stories that showcase our brand, products, and customers, adapting them for various channels (web, print, social, video, email, and more). Write clear, engaging, and accurate copy for brochures, sell sheets, flyers, and other print materials. Develop key messaging, headlines, and taglines for product communications and campaigns. Collaborate with the digital and creative teams to develop content strategies for web pages, landing pages, and social platforms. Support product launch initiatives with integrated content planning, creation, and execution. Draft and edit external communications such as press releases, announcements, and email campaigns. Serve as marketing liaison on cross-functional teams for a variety of company projects and initiatives. Work with designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce visually and narratively cohesive marketing assets. Review, update, and proofread a wide range of materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice. Ensure all materials meet corporate brand and quality standards.

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.

Pay: $78,000.00-$98,000.00 per year
